APOLOGUE PERFUMES (“APOLOGUE”)

(“I”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the content and services available on the website, www.apologueperfumes.com (“Site”) to you subject to the following terms and conditions, our Privacy Policy and other terms and conditions and policies which you may find throughout our Site in connection with certain functionality, features or promotions as well as customer service, all of which are deemed a part of and included within these terms and conditions (collectively, “Terms and Conditions”).

TERMS OF WEBSITE USE

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you use this website. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.

RETURN POLICY

All sales are final for your safety and other’s.  Because it is important to us that you are happy with your purchase from the beginning, we encourage you to order a Flight and/or Scent Dots to fully experience the fragrances at your convenience, prior to purchasing a bottle.

If your product is faulty or was damaged in shipping please contact us.  We will send a replacement and ensure your satisfaction.

SHIPPING

We currently offer shipping to the United States its territories, including American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

By law, because our perfumes are made with alcohol which is flammable, they are required to ship “surface only” (by ground or boat).  We usually have them en-route within 1 business day, and occasionally within 1.5 business days of receiving your order.  Depending on where you live, you should receive your order within four to eight business days from the time your order ships.

Shipping is complimentary.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES FOR PERSONAL USE

The products and services available on the Site, and any samples thereof we may provide to you, are for personal use only. You may not sell or resell any of the products or services, or samples thereof you purchase or otherwise receive from us without written permission.  We reserve the right, with or without notice, to cancel or reduce the quantity of any order to be filled or products or services to be provided to you that we believe, in our sole discretion, may result in the violation of our Terms and Conditions.

INGREDIENTS
We make our products, in house, with 100% natural ingredients: essential oils, absolutes, isolates (fractions of essential oils), melanges (combinations of essential oil fractions), minerals, animalics, and organic wheat, grape or cane alcohol. We never use synthetics, parabens, chemical extenders, or other non-naturally occurring ingredients.

WE ARE CRUELTY FREE

We do not do any animal testing.  Any animal product that we use is from a sustainable source or is a found-substance.  We do not use animal products from captivity “farms”.  Read more on specifics in our FAQ pages.

EU CITIZENS

Our website is invisible to the EU and we do not advertise, market, sell or ship to the EU from this website at this time.  If you are living in or visiting the US we are happy to directly serve you and ship to you within this country.   

SAFETY

We strive to provide the highest quality and purest perfumes possible for our customers. However, the user is solely responsible for the safe use of our products. We assume no responsibility or liability for any claims arising out of the use or misuse of our products.  Please keep our products out of the reach of children. If you are pregnant or nursing or have any medical condition that can be affected by volatile oils or natural fragrances, please seek the advice of a qualified health professional before using our products. 

For the most cautious and safe use of our products, we recommend testing our perfumes on a small area of skin to check for any possible allergic reactions:  Apply a small amount of the product to about 1-2 square inches of the skin on your inner arm.  Depending on the degree of caution you elect to take, you may “read” that area in 10 minutes or in 24 hours.  If redness, burning, itching or irritation occurs, stop using product immediately.  First rub oil such as cooking oil over the site to dilute.  Then wash with soap and tepid water to clean the affected area.

None of our products are for internal use.  All our products are meant for external or topical use.  Use on skin, clothing, hair, or other application are done so at your own discretion. 

PRIVACY

All information we receive from you during any financial transaction and/or communication will be held in the strictest privacy insomuch as we do not rent, sell or give your information to any third parties and we maintain security standards typical of quality non-GDVP sites.

Apologue Perfumes’ stockists, affiliates, reviewers, or other websites not belonging to Apologue Perfumes are not in our control and we make no claims of privacy assurance for them.

Apologue Perfumes’ website is not compliant at this time with the May 25th, 2018 European Union’s (EU) GDVP privacy law. The cost to implement the standards required by the GDPR are excessive and prohibitive for a small business.  For that reason we do not sell to the EU and have blocked visibility of this Site to the EU on the world wide web.   If you are a EU citizen visiting the US, and order from us during your stay, please be advised. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Apologue Perfumes shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of this website or the use or misuse of our products or social media sites or business associates, even if Apologue Perfumes has been advised of the possibility of such damages. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Apologue Perfumes, from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including attorneys’ fees.

All information and content available on this site and on our products is for information and education only.  Consult your health care provider for any health decisions you plan to make.

All information and content available on the Site and its look and feel, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, copyrights, service marks, features, functions, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, videos, audio clips, data compilations and software, and the compilation and organization thereof (collectively, the “Content”) is our property or the property of our parents, subsidiaries, our affiliates, partners or licensors, and is protected by United States and international laws, including laws governing copyrights and trademarks.

We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products on the Site; however we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colors, information or other content available on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. This Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions (including after an order has been submitted) and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to pricing and availability, and we reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed based on incorrect pricing or availability information.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Links appearing on the Site are for convenience only and are not an endorsement by us, our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates or partners of the referenced content, product, service, or supplier.
